Stock picks of the month
July 2026

A monthly momentum-screen watchlist, cross-checked for Shariah compliance on Zoya. This is a talking point, not a buy list. Read the caveats before you do anything.

Last updated 2026-07-03 · figures captured 2026-07-03 · illustrative and requires human review

We only encourage investing in funds. In your 20s it's fun to throw money into stocks and watch what they do, but that feels less responsible as you get older. Research across thousands of millionaires shows that investing in single stocks doesn't beat the broad market over the long run, and funds are easier and less stressful to hold than individual stocks.

These are momentum trades, not long-term holds. You ride the wave and sell to rotate into the next stock with momentum. You do NOT hold them long term. We don't recommend this strategy and only encourage investing in funds. Do this at your own risk.

Past returns don't represent future results. A stock trending up today can reverse tomorrow. Nothing here is a prediction.

This page is general guidance to help you learn, not regulated financial advice and not a personal recommendation. Do your own research and consider speaking to a regulated financial adviser.

The fundamentals in the filter table are approximate figures gathered from public sources on the date shown, not a live feed, so re-check them before relying on them. Shariah verdicts are quoted from Zoya as captured on that date and are not Mana's own ruling; always check the live verdict on Zoya (or with your own scholar) before treating a stock as halal to buy.

Here's how the stock picks are calculated

We start with a momentum idea: look for stocks showing strong recent price momentum: trending up over the last 3, 6 and 12 months, sitting above key moving averages (like the 50- and 200-day), and showing relative strength versus the broad market.

Names that clear that momentum screen are then cross-checked for Shariah compliance on Zoya, so we're only ever discussing stocks that plausibly pass.

Each candidate is then run through four simple fundamental filters (shown per stock below). A stock "passes" a filter when it clears the threshold:

  • Gross Margin > 50%
  • P/E < 100
  • Debt to Equity < 30%
  • Float > 100M

The numbers in the tables below are illustrative round figures to show how the screen works. They are not a live financial feed and require human review before being treated as authoritative.
